How Engaged is Your Brand? →
When I look at this chart, it reminds me not only of the importance of communication (of course companies & organizations should be talking internally about what’s going on in their social media efforts!), but also of recent political campaigns and their efforts to push forward with sites like Facebook and Twitter. Over the last few months of researching, I’ve noticed some really amazing social media efforts for some campaigns, while others seemed to be drowning in perceived social media requirements.
Much like a business, the best political campaigns start with keeping a clear channel of communication & feedback with the people you’re trying to serve: voters. Facebook & Twitter are incredibly effective tools for creating a two-way communication channel between groups of people; but if it’s not used properly, or if you don’t do anything with the information that people are sending to you, it’s useless.
